Accuracy & editorial policy
Every attribute on a listing names its source and the date it was last verified. If a provision cannot be sourced, the listing shows the gap and the question to ask the venue — we do not fill gaps with assumptions, and we never present a single "sensory friendly" tick with no evidence behind it.
Programs end, hours change, and staff turn over. When a reader reports that a program has ended, that report gets priority review within days and the listing is annotated immediately — "reader reported this program ended, checking" — rather than left wrong while we verify.
If we get something wrong, the correction is dated and written into the listing’s change log. Accuracy is not a policy page on this site; it is the product, because the families using it plan around what it says.
What we will not publish
- A claim with no named source and no date.
- Reviews, testimonials, or endorsements we cannot attribute to a real, checkable origin — so, none at all.
- Named individual "experts" or authors who do not exist. This site is run by its operator (see About), and pages say so.
- A hub page for a city or category too thin to be useful — thin hubs are simply not generated.
Corrections are handled under the corrections policy and logged publicly on each listing.
